The Experience of a Worker Who Got a Job at Amazon for Just 2 Questions

A woman at a job interview was asked only 2 questions by one of the richest people in the world and the owner of a large company called Amazon, and her 2 answers left a great impression on him.

A job interview is one of the most stressful moments in a person's life, especially when you are sitting in front of a billionaire like Jeff Bezos. Regardless, one woman managed to capture his feelings and instantly got a job at Amazon.

Ann Hiatt got a job at Amazon back in 2002, and at the job interview she was asked only 2 key questions that decided whether she would be an employee at Amazon or not.

First, Bezos asked her a trick question – estimate the number of panes of glass in Seattle. To that, she replied that in order to arrive at that number, it would be best to see the number of citizens and information on whether they have a house, an office, how many of them go to school. She suggested that they take those averages into account.

Bezos was pleased with the response. But another question followed – what are your career goals? – he asked her. She stated that she wants to work in his company because it employs ambitious people from whom she can learn.

Those two questions were enough for one of the greatest businessmen and bosses ever to hire a person for the chosen position. With this, Bezos revealed that she is not only intelligent and knows what she wants, but also that she is ready for teamwork, since they achieved the first result by working together.
